Managing workspaces
Create, rename, archive, and control workspace access.
Manage workspaces under Settings → Workspaces.
- Create a workspace for a new team or area of work.
- Rename it or set its purpose so people know what belongs there.
- Archive a workspace to retire it; archived workspaces and boards appear under Recently deleted, where you can restore them.
Access & restricted workspaces
People only see workspaces they’ve been added to. Workspaces a person can’t access show as restricted for them until an admin adds them. For board-level privacy, use a private board and add specific people.
Archiving a workspace hides its boards from members. Nothing is permanently lost — restore it from Recently deleted if needed.
Common questions
What happens to boards when I archive a workspace?
They’re archived with it and hidden from view; restoring the workspace brings them back.
Why does a workspace show as restricted?
You haven’t been added to it. Ask an admin to grant you access.
