Lists & cards
Build columns, add cards, and move work along.
Lists (columns)
Lists are the columns on a board — usually stages of work like *To do*, *In progress*, *Done*.
- Add a list with + Add list at the end of the board.
- Rename a list by clicking its title.
- Reorder lists by dragging the grip handle (⠿) in a list’s header; delete a list from its menu.
- Give each list a status from its menu — cards take on that status when moved into the list. New boards start the first column *Pending* and the second *In Progress*.
- Move all cards to another list in one go from a list’s menu. Everyone assigned still gets a per-card alert, but the email is collapsed into a single summary.
Cards
A card is one unit of work — a task, idea, or item.
- 1Click + Add a card at the bottom of a list and type a title.
- 2Click the card to open it and fill in the details (see the next section).
- 3Drag a card to move it within a list or across lists — its position saves automatically.
Bulk edits
Select multiple cards — hover any card and tick its checkbox, or hit Select in the toolbar to select with a tap. A toolbar appears: set status, priority, due date, move them to a list, add a member or label, or archive them all at once. Everyone assigned still gets a per-card alert, but the email is a single summary.
Drag-and-drop is the fastest way to reprioritize. Drop a card at the top of a list to make it the next thing to do.
Common questions
How do I move a card?
Drag it within or between lists. To move many at once, select them and use the bulk bar.
Can I get a card back after archiving it?
Yes — open Archived cards from the board and restore it.
